Samantha Mallari

Samantha earned her B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, and has been with HSFL since Spring 2025. Her work mainly focuses on developing software for the CubeSats for Climate Change Monitoring (C3M) mission and the Artemis CubeSat Kit, spanning embedded flight software, ground station software, data analysis, payload integration, and radio communications. She’s also well-versed in other technology stacks, including web app development and machine learning. Outside the lab, Samantha’s an avid reader and a hobbyist tinkerer who loves exploring open-source firmware to give old tech new life.
